Ordering

When should I place my order?

Our online ordering cuts off at 2pm daily for next day delivery/collection.

Kindly note that certain items will need to be order at least 2-3 days in advance. Do check the respective products for the lead time required.

Can I place an order for today?

For same-day orders, kindly DM us on Instagram @rachelrax.

Same-day delivery orders will only be accepted on a case-by-case basis.

You may either self collect or opt for your own courier to pick up.

Can I opt for self collection?

Yes, you may opt for self collection at our store.

Do you deliver?

Yes, we do provide delivery services to your door.

Why can’t I order for Mondays & Tuesdays?

We are closed Mondays - Tuesdays.

If you wish to place an order for these days, you may drop us a message on Instagram @rachelrax or email us.

Orders outside of our operating hours will be accepted on a case-by-case bases.

I’ve made payment and did not receive any confirmation email.

Delivery

What are your delivery charges? 

$11/location for Residential Areas, $17/location for Non-Residential Areas

Free Delivery for orders above $150 (Residential Areas) / $250 (Non-Residential Areas)

I’m buying as a gift for a friend, where should I leave my contact details?

Upon checking out, kindly fill in your details under BILLING, and fill in the recipient’s details under SHIPPING.

It is important to leave your contact details so that we can reach out to you should there be any problems with your order.

What is the delivery timing? Can we select our time slot?

All deliveries will be made between 2-6pm.

Additional charge of $6 applicable for specified time slots. Do email us at hello@rachelraxcakes.com with your order number if you wish to have your order delivered to you at a certain timing.

What happens when no one is around to receive my order?

In the event no one is around, our driver will give the recipient a call to get permission to leave them at the door. Please note that all delivered items will have to be kept in the fridge immediately upon delivery. We will not be responsible for any damaged or lost items left at the door.

(If the recipient can't be reached after 10mins, the order either will be disposed of, or a redelivery fee of $15 will be charged provided the driver is available to come back at a later timing)

What happens if I received the wrong items? Or if my items were damaged?

Is there parking at your store?

Ample parking is available directly in front of our store.

Are there seatings available for dine-in?

No, unfortunately we are a takeaway only store.

Product

Are your products halal?

No, our kitchen is not halal certified but we do use halal certified ingredients for our bakes. (Majority of our products are halal-friendly. Except items that contain alcohol)

Are your products vegetarian-friendly?

All of our tarts contain dairy products and eggs, so they are only suitable for lacto-ovo vegetarians.

Are there animal products in your bakes?

Yes, in some. We use halal-certified fish gelatin in all our entremets, whole galaxy cakes, mini domes and ondeh ondeh tarts.

Do you have sugar/gluten free or vegan options?

We do not have any of the above options.

For vegan options, we are open to discuss any bulk orders.

How should I store your products?

All our products are required to be kept in the fridge as soon as possible (unless otherwise stated)

Mini Tarts - Mostly best consumed on the same day, chocolate flavours can keep up to 3 days.

Entremets - 2-3 days

Tiramisu - 3-4 days

What are your modes of payment?

Online Orders - PayNow, VISA or MasterCard

In Stores - Cash, PayNow or GrabPay

Do you accept cash on delivery?

No, all orders are only confirmed after payment has been made.
